About Sarsen Health – Occupational Health Specialists
We are a team of award winning Occupational Health Specialists. We have a wealth of experience in a range of commercial and industry sectors and we love what we do. Sarsen Health has attained SEQOHS accreditation, a quality scheme for Occupational Health providers, run by the Royal College of Physicians of London, for the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.
What we do
Occupational health professionals work in a variety of disciplines and settings, and include specialist physicians, public health nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists and counsellors, among others.
Sickness Absence – Management Referrals
Sickness absence is costly for all businesses but for small businesses the absence of a key employee can impact significantly on the rest of the team. At Sarsen Health, we understand that HR and line managers need clear and concise advice, and often a fast response from us in helping them to manage absence. There are some medically complex cases of both physical and mental ill health where advice from an Occupational Health Specialist can be invaluable.
Mental health in the workplace
The government has committed to trying to improve mental health among the working population and promised to continue the debate with those calling for changes to Health and Safety legislation to cover mental health at work as well as the current duty to protect physical health. Employers can take steps to encourage an open culture that enables those with mental health problems to talk about them. A range of measures can help build resilience, which could help prevent work related stress and anxiety. Training Managers to be able to spot signs of a mental health problem is key to ensuring an early intervention and support.
Construction Industry Compliance – occupational health for the construction industry
Sarsen Health has won awards for service delivery in the construction industry with over fifteen year’s experience of working with a range of clients across the industry.
We are based in Woking and offer services from an ad hoc health assessment to a managed Occupational Health Service. Our construction services are aimed at small and medium companies. We understand the need for flexible services that meet compliance requirements and your budget.
Wellbeing in the workplace
There is a growing body of evidence to support the business case for implementing a Wellbeing in the Workplace Strategy. Promoting wellbeing at work and healthier lifestyle choices which support staff health can improve staff morale and increase productivity.
Who we work with
We have been around for a while now and have worked with some of our clients for many years, speaking to them almost daily and others who we might speak to now and again.
What our clients say
We believe that good communication is at the heart of establishing partnerships with our clients. It’s a team effort.
