As Sarsen Health approaches its 5th year as a SEQOHS accredited provider, we thought we’d explain a little more about what this means.
SEQOHS (Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service) is a quality scheme developed by The Faculty of Occupational Medicine to create a benchmark quality for occupational health services. SEQOHS states: ‘accreditation provides independent and impartial recognition that the occupational health service provider has objectively demonstrated their competence, as defined by the SEQOHS standards’.
SEQOHS Accreditation
To achieve SEQOHS accreditation, an occupational health provider must undergo annual assessment, providing evidence of policies and procedures over a range of business areas. The provider’s evidence is reviewed independently, to ensure ongoing compliance. So be it the equipment we use or the records we keep, as a client you can be assured that Sarsen Health has achieved these standards.
Therefore, when looking for an occupational health provider, selecting one that is SEQOHS accredited will guarantee a thorough and compliant service. As well as SEQOHS accreditation, Sarsen Health has many years experience of both case management and health surveillance, covering a wide range of industries. Over the last few years, we have seen an increase in the number of clients and client contractors now requesting assessments (particularly Safety Critical Worker assessments) be carried out by a SEQOHS accredited provider.
Whether you’re looking to refer an employee, or carry out health surveillance for your whole workforce, we’re here to help – give us a call today.
